The LAB_ID "WBC" and "LEUK" are referring to the same blood test to measure the number of white blood cells. Please delete "LEUK"from the coding list.

What is the motivation behind keeping WBC and removing LEUK as opposed to the other way around? The term "Leukocytes" is used in the descriptions of CD3P, CD8P and LYMP, and matches the general naming style; I would therefore prefer to keep LEUK and remove WBC.

I had the idea that "WBC" was the more general term instead of leukocytes. If it's the other way around, we should remove "WBC" and keep "LEUK".

Are Glucose (GLUC) and Glycemia (GLYCE) also referring to the same lab test?

Let us discuss the naming of duplicate lab tests at the next TC. We should also consider more specimen types (LAB_ST) e.g. urine, liquor, etc.
