HICDEP Release 1.80 7750 0

Dear all
A first version of the changelog to the upcoming HICDEP release 1.80 is now available.
If you have any remarks or would like to add any changes to this upcoming release, please use this thread or let me know via email.
The HICDEP version 1.80 is scheduled to be finalised in the beginning of october.

I had the chance to discuss the hepatitis codes from tblCEP with Massimo Puoti and Robert Zangerle. To improve the tool for an adequate clinical classification of hepatic liver diseases we suggest the following changes:
New type of event: Fibroscan IQR

Country of birth/Geographic origin (i.e. splitting the currently combined variable ORIGIN 'Nationality or region of origin of patient')
Year of arrival to host country if born abroad

I noticed that not all proteinuria lab measurement made it into HICDEP 1.7. Could the following lab measurements be added to the HICDEP version 1.8
ACRA: Albumin Creatinin Ratio
PCRA: Protein Creatinin Ratio

Hi.
In COHERE 2014 merger we are collecting LAB_ID=MCV (Mean Corpuscular Volume). The standard unit of measurement of this is 'femtoliters'.
I would like to suggest to add this as LAB_U=16
(And the reason we want to add it as '16' is that in the latest COHERE SOP we have 13=µg/L, 14=mg/24h and 15=mg/mmol)

Here is a real life problem to consider:
The HICDEP 'DIS_ID' field (used to store CDC class C OIs) has the code for TB but the problem is, if we export from our database we are going from something general in our database to something more specific in HICDEP. Coding of causes of death 6044 5

In COHERE we have asked the cohorts to indicate what has been the source of information for coding the causes of death.
We identified 5 possible options:
1) Did not apply any method, just had the codes mapped into HICDEP/CoDe
2) Applied full Cause of Death (CoDe) protocol within own cohort
3) Used data received back from the ART-CC
4) Used data received back from DAD
5) A mixture of the above.

HICDEP 1.70 - Release Candidate 6080 4

You can find the RC of the version 1.70 here.
The change log is included in the PDF. The new release consists of mainly small changes: Optional fields are added (regarding employment, education, smoking...), redundancies in the tblDIS coding were removed and tblAE was renamed to tblCEP.

The table LTFU contains additional variables to collect the ICD-10 coding for coding of causes of death, however I have learned that some cohorts do use the ICD-9 coding instead of ICD-10 coding, however there are no HICDEP variables to provide these ICD-9 codings. Could we add these variables to HICDEP
